- Your most embarrassing moment on skates, if any: In 1977, during a Saturday night skating session I had my eye on this sweet chick who was looking good in her bell bottom jeans. After wringing my hands for half the session, I finally got up enough courage to ask her to skate a “couples only” special with me. Just as I was about to finish my approach, I must have put too much weight on my heels and I fell flat on my back directly in front of and under my target. I remember looking up at her from the ground and watching her as she rolled her eyes and skated off with her friends.
